Products
The Product Page is one of the most important pages in any Shopify store. It presents the full information of a specific product, helping customers understand the item before making a purchase decision. This page includes essential elements such as the product title, images, price, variants, description, and add-to-cart functionality, all organized to guide the customer smoothly through the buying process.
A well-designed product page allows the shopper to explore key details—images, features, specifications, sizing information, and customer reviews—while also offering interactive features like variant selection, quantity control, and related product recommendations. By providing clarity and convenience, the Product Detail Page plays a crucial role in improving user experience, building trust, and increasing conversion rates.
How to create and edit Product ?
1: Login to your Shopify store, go to Online Store > Products
2: Add product or choose product -> edit content

Create Required MetafieldsHow to customize the Product Page ?
Open the Theme Editor (Customize)
Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes
Click Customize to open the Theme Editor.
This is where you edit templates and sections.
Open the Product Template
The Product page is a built-in system page in Shopify — you do not create it as a normal Page.
At the top-center of the Theme Editor, click the template dropdown (it usually shows Home page, Default product, etc.)
Select Products → choose Default product
This will open the Default product template that your theme has already prepared for you.
Review the pre-built Collection list section
When the default Default product template is loaded, you will see the sections we have already built for this page:

These pre-built sections help you structure the product page correctly without needing to add them manually.
Add more sections if needed
If you want to expand the layout, you can add extra sections:
Click Add section
Choose any section available in the theme (Image Banner, Testimonials, Icon Box, Lookbook, Collection List, etc.)
You are free to customize the page layout depending on your design needs.
Customize each section
Click a section to edit:
Text and descriptions
Images
Buttons
Layout and spacing
Background settings
etc.
Save your changes
After making changes, click Save in the top-right corner.
Your Product page is now updated with the built-in sections and any custom additions you added.
