General

The General section in the Theme Editor allows you to manage your store’s basic settings, including the logo, favicon, and page title. These elements play an important role in building your brand identity on Shopify.

1. Logo

In the Logo area, you can upload the main image representing your brand.

• Select – Click to upload a logo from your computer.

• Explore free images – Choose free images from Shopify’s library.

• Desktop logo width – Adjust the displayed logo size for desktop. You can drag the slider or manually enter a pixel value (e.g., 200px).

2. Favicon Image

The Favicon is the small icon that appears on the browser tab.

In this section, you can:

• Upload a favicon image (e.g., favicon.png)

• The image will automatically be scaled down to the standard 32 x 32px size.

A favicon helps improve brand recognition when users open multiple tabs.

3. Page Title

The Page title field allows you to set the title displayed in the browser tab and used by search engines like Google.

You should keep the title clear, concise, and include relevant keywords related to your brand or products.
